HMRC has circulated their first weekly update for 2014 to stakeholders, which looks to provide informal highlights as a result of listening to employer feedback and working in partnership with stakeholders.
Employer Payment booklets update
Update about the bulk dispatch of the 2014 to 2015 Payment Booklets and the weekly dispatch of 2013 to 2014 in-year Payment Booklets to Employers.
Statutory Payment Rates
Statutory Payment information is currently on the GOV.UK website and is included (on pages 12 & 13) in the Proposed benefit and pension rates 2014-2015.
Deadline for certain employers operating the Intermediaries (IR35) legislation
Employers who submitted a provisional P35 for 2012-13 and paid tax/NICs on account in line with the special rules for intermediaries have until 31 January 2014 to submit an amended P35 and pay any additional tax/NICs due. Further information can be found here.
