When a company car is made available for the private use of an employee a 'benefit in kind' value is calculated in relation to the car, and the fuel if that is also provided for private use.
This calculator:
- allows you to calculate the 'benefit in kind' value of a company car and, if appropriate the car fuel benefit
- provides an indication of the Income Tax you would be liable to pay for the provision of company car and car fuel benefit
The calculator allows calculations for the years:
- 2009 to 2010
- 2010 to 2011
- 2011 to 2012
- 2012 to 2013
- 2013 to 2014
- 2014 to 2015
Note: There is currently an error in the calculator for 2014-15 for diesel cars with CO2 emissions figures higher than 200g/km. The calculator does not restrict the appropriate percentage to 35% and shows a charge based on a percentage of 38%. This error is being corrected and a revised calculator will be issued as soon as possible.
